I've put together a small preview of some of the colourways I have dyed for an upcoming shop update. For the last week or so I have been working with the wonderful Cashmerino 20, a fingering weight blend of merino, cashmere and nylon (70%/20%/10%). It is incredibly soft with an exquisite hand and I know you will love working with it as much as I do. It is the perfect choice for summer shawls, light weight sweaters, and baby garments. It also makes for luxurious socks, if you'd like to spoil your toes a little.
For most of the year I have been filling dyed to orders, so it was nice to have the chance to play around with colour palettes and a few colourways I don't dye very often. Pink frost is a special colourway from this year's Coloured Greys club and is making its first outside appearance in this update. Tea rose, silver leaf, and sweet pea are also past club colourways that aren't often dyed on our Cashmerino 20. Smoky lilac fits right in there too, it's not a club colourway but a rare one that I don't dye often. I find myself drawn to these light coloured greys lately, they all look so pleasing together! Below I've included a few photographs of palettes and colour combinations I came up with while photographing the colourways for this coming update. You can also follow along on Instagram, where I share snapshots and stories of my work in between dye batches.
This shop update will occur early this week. Advance notice of the date and time have been sent out to our mailing list subscribers.
